We have a requirement for a Head of Marketing; the position is based in Qatar, with an immediate start .

Duties Include:

  • Participates with the senior management in the negotiations of new projects in relations to marketing study, strategies development and procedures
  • Will be responsible for developing HoA for various customers
  • Develop risk management program and identify key risk issues
  • Develop economic models, planning assistance, and advice on the current and future international markets.
  • Develop department budget forecast and analyze against actuals
  • Liaise with legal department/external lawyers for negotiation of various sales agreements/confidentiality agreements/MoUs/HoAs etc.
  • Will also develop and negotiate term sheets and other innovate new commercial agreements like Swap Deals and other agreements related to sales.
  • Undertakes marketing strategies and price formulae, undertaking price analysis in all major factors affecting the marketing policies and proposes to Top Management for discussing pricing policies, methods and procedures
  • Will be responsible for directing and developing client’s marketing programs. Activities include promotions of client globally through conferences, seminars and other Oil and Gas networking programs conducted worldwide
  • Develop marketing strategies for selling gas in liquid and traditional markets like UK, France, Spain, China, Taiwan, Japan etc
  • Maintaining all aspects of the on-going customer relationship generating new business, tracking all activity/progress on the customer

Experience required:

  • B.Sc degree from a recognised school in an appropriate discipline (business, economics and finance)
  • At least 8 years professional experience in amrketing and business development of the hydrocarbon industry including 3 years in marketing.

Software:

  • Computer literacy skills are required
