We have a requirement for a Head of Production Allocation; the position is based in Qatar, with an immediate start.
Duties Include:
- Leads the preparation and negotiation of all operating agreements and procedures for common storage & loading facilities and other production sharing procedures
- Coordinates procedures to ensure proper allocation of production/lifting inventory and settlement of over/under production quantities to client ventures
- Ensures production measurement and allocation methodology / rules / principles are designed, properly coded and executed into specific software modules, they are selected as future C&S integrated IT tools so that product sales are channeled to correct profit centres and relevant data is available for royalty calculation
- Supervises allocation engineers to carry out daily mass and energy balances and monthly production allocation of various networks under client operations
- Ensures accurate and timely relay of all production related data from shared facilities to various owners
- For new projects, continues to lead multi disciplinary task force, in order to prepare and validate measurement and allocation methodology/rules/principles, consistent with relevant joint venture agreements and fiscal agreements
- Supervises allocation engineers in continuous efforts in the elaboration of a global metering philosophy consistent with all the client ventures and ensure implementation
Experience required:
- BA degree in business administration and/or engineering
- 12 years experience in similar fields
Software:
- Computer literacy is necessary
Languages:
- Fluent in English written and spoken
