We have a requirement for a Mechanical Completion & Commissioning Engineer; the position is based in Stavanger Norway, with an immediate start.
Duties Include:
- Responsible for Project Planning within Offshore MC & Commissioning work incl. preparatory work. Reporting to the Offshore Installation Manager, reporting within profession to Project Service Manager
- Establishing procedures and working routines for offshore MC & commissioning planning
- Input to monthly report for area of responsibility
- Identify and keep track of critical activities
- Input to project baseline updates
- Prepare and keep updated the overall Goliat Offshore MC and Commissioning Schedule incl.
- Review and analyze contractors installation and commissioning schedules to ensure a well coordinated overall MC and Commissioning programme
- Contribute to the Installation Commissioning group for establishing overall MC & Commissioning strategies and programmes (i.e. well defined boundaries, definition of system/part-system, Handover Programme, contribute to maximize onshore work and minimize work to be completed offshore)
- Weekly/Monthly follow up and analysis of offshore schedules, progress and resources
Experience required:
- Minimum 10-15 years experience within panning/cost/project control of offshore projects
- Technical engineering diploma degree or economic/business graduated
