We have a requirement for a Project Coordinator; the position is based in Angola, with an immediate start and expected duration of twelve months (with possibility of an extension).
Duties Include:
- Able to coordinate with company’s QC department to ensure that all relevant ITP(s) (Inspections and Test Plans) requirement are met
- Good sense of safety requirements in the oil and gas industry, able to adhere to company’s and client’s safety requirements
- Is able to coordinate all activities required to fabricate spools to ASME and structures to AWS D1.1
- Coordinate recipt of materials, both company and Free Issue Supplied materials
- Compile work packs/Compose ITP’s (with QC department)
- Produced and adhere to planning’s for dedicated projects, coordinate with the workshop supervisor and subcontractor to achieve this
- Liaise and coordinate with different department to aquire timely, the required materials/consumables and services
- Liaise and coordinate with applicable subcontractor indluding, Scaffolding, Coating, NDE, Rigging, Lifting and Transport to timely aquire the required services
- Liaise with the client’s Site Representative to ensure the ITP(s) witnessed/monitored or reviewed and signed off as applicable
- Coordinate kick-off meetings
- Hold tool box meetings
Experience required:
- Good working knowledge of:
- Piping fitting and constructions
- Welding ASME IX and AWS D1.1
- Able to read P&ID’s Isometrics and construction drawing
