We have a requirement for a Project Engineer; the position is based in Angola, with an immediate start and expected duration of twelve months (with posibility of an extension).
Duties Include:
- Assist with the preparation of fabrication work packs
- Assist with the day to day coordination of subcontractors, personnel and resources
- Participate in the short term and long term project planning
- Will monitor and follow up, on a day to day basis, the welding and fabrication quality
- Liaise assist the project coordinator in liaising with the QC department, the fabrication supervisor and subcontractors as applicable to ensure a full coverage of project requirement
- Monitor work in progress and coordinate with the project coordinator the applicable subcontractors, including timekeeping
- Assist in the composing of pre commissioning dossiers
- Perform pre commissioning activities as applicable
