We have a requirement for a Safety & Environment Engineer (Firewater); the position is based in Stavanger Norway, with an immediate start and expected duration to 31.12.10.

Duties Include:

  • Perform hydraulic calculations for firewater modifications on Statfjord and Snorre
  • Overall responsibility for all matters concerning firewater capacity, valves, nozzles etc
  • Assist package responsible engineer with purchasing firewater equipment
  • Other safety related activities may be included in the job

Experience required:

  • Civil / Safety Engineer
  • Specialisation in firewater
  • Good knowledge of NORSOK and NFPA
  • Ability to travel offshore is a must

Software:

  • Pipenet

Languages:

  • Norwegian / English

Other Information:

  • Offshore Certificate required
