We have a requirement for a Maintenance Section Head; the position is based in Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start.
Duties Include:
- To direct and supervise the activities of the personnel and resources of the section to provide cost effective maintenance of all the area equipment
- To compile/provide input for preparation of division/department Capital and Operating budgets, monitor/control expenditure against budgets related to the area maintenance
- To provide input for five year business plan arising out of plant maintenance activities
- To generate a ‘one team’ culture with Operations in the Area ensuring effective delivery of services to the customer and enabling the assets to meet company performance targets
- To ensure proper coordination with the Central Maintenance Group for activities requiring their intervention
- To ensure proper planning and efficient use of resources with the Maximo CMMS system
- To ensure PTW procedures are thoroughly understood and adhered to by all his staff
- To enforce the implementation of Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSE-MS) and also promote awareness among his staff
- To initiate / propose requirement for new procedures based on plant requirements for improvements
- To ensure that the procedures, work instructions and drawings are properly followed and adhered to, and provide input for drawings updating
- To participate in technical investigations and trouble shooting to identify faults and causes of breakdowns/trips
